Prevention, Treatment, Performance

I am 8 years qualified as a physiotherapist with a passion for sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, biomechanical analysis and performance conditioning. I have been privileged to work with international athletes from the UK and NZ, in Winter and Summer sports up to Olympic/Paralympic level. I have always been driven to improve my practice and challenge myself further and have undergone a MSc in Sport's Injury Management and Therapy as well as many other courses.

I am a very sociable and outgoing person, who loves to be active in the outdoors. This has has lead me into supporting many exciting more adventurous sports in my physiotherapy career (Bobsleigh, Freestyle skiing, climbers, mountain biking and ultimate frisbee). I enjoy setting myself new and exciting challenges throughout my life and when possible combine it with travelling and exploring the world. Challenges that could either come from travelling with National teams or learning to scuba dive in foreign waters. I try to always be a helpful member of the community, whether through raising money for charity or offering time and voluntary hours to local services to promote good health and well-being. I am very driven to help lead people down the path, were they can take control of their own health and potetntial. 'Prevention, really is better than cure'.
