Phoebe is a senior physiotherapist at Back to Your Feet Physiotherapy Ltd and the physiotherapist for the womens prem football team for the Western Springs football club. She specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with over 5 years experience. She has moved to New Zealand recently having worked in the UK for the duration of her career.
Phoebe prides herself on evidence based clinical practice and providing goal-centred treatment plans for clients with the aim to return to sport and function and prevent further injury, therefore you can be confident you are receiving the most up-to-date evidence based treatment.
Having a particular interest in lower limb sporting injuries, she has been a part of a lower limb journal club led by clinical physiotherapy specialists to be most up to date with current evidence to ensure all her clients have the most success with recovery from injury.
When not working, Phoebe is a keen runner and an ex- national swimmer who also enjoys hiking and travelling.
Career
Having worked as part of the NHS, Phoebe gained experience in acute accident and emergency, inpatient orthopaedics, as well as outpatient neurological and rheumatological settings which has allowed her to expand her appreciation for bigger picture within musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Throughout her career she has gained additional qualifications to become a clinical educator for university students as well as having a teaching role for junior members of staff.
Phoebe prides herself on her assessment skills having worked within specialist led musculoskeletal assessment clinics in the NHS.
She has worked with a range of athletes from sporting backgrounds including national basketballers to Liverpool FC academy players within the NHS and private practice from injury to return to sport processes.
